Aims
Study programme-specific learning outcomes OLA Regeltechniek:
- The student interprets the operation of a control loop and understands the interaction between the different components.
- The student understands the relationship between the Kv factor, the inherent characteristic and the operating characteristic of a control valve and its influence on the controllability and performance of a control system
- The student determines the different relevant parameters from a process characteristic curve
- The student interprets a given P&ID diagram
- The student explains the behaviour of a given control algorithm for a given process
- The student analyses and constructs block diagrams to understand functional coherence and predict dynamic response

- The student prepares a well-organised, clear and complete report on measurement and control systems (with attention to form, formatting and timing)
- The student determines the right parameters to optimise a control loop
- The student interprets a given P&ID diagram
- The student designs a P&ID diagram for a control loop
- The student selects the right control valve for a practical problem
- The student links different elements logically together
